We would just like to say how pleased, but very sad, we are to be saying goodbye to Joel as he departs for Abu Dhabi to work as a coach for Manchester City.
Joel has been here for just under three years and started as an apprentice at MITC, where he developed and learned the ways to become a better coach and be a big help in the community. Joel’s development was great to see, and this gave him the opportunity to become the head coach at MITC, allowing him to take on more important roles within MITC.
Joel was not only a great coach but also played a massive role in helping out in the community, especially with our community café every Friday afternoon. Joel became the leading man with the cafe, making sure it was all set up before everyone arrived, and during the cafe, he would always talk to everyone and make sure they were all having a good time. Joel was well loved by everyone at the café, and I know they will all miss him massively.
We are extremely proud of Joel and all of his achievements, and we wish him the best of luck with this new job and his future.
